I like soup.
I find it relaxing to make soup and most enjoyable to eat it. I prefer to make soups in a dutch oven, sometimes heating with coals, sometimes on the stove. Usually the soup is rather spicy, as that's the way I prefer it. Really, I've found that I always seem to have onion, garlic, and bell peppers around when I contemplate a soup, so most of my soups are based on these few ingredients. You might like these soups, too. I have uploaded a few of my favorites. I don't claim to have invented all of these recipes -- they're just the ones I like.
